Team VA is off to a great start in 2017.
In our first team competition, Phil-Mont HS sophomore and Team VA member Caleb Johnson vaulted to a new personal best of 14’ 4” (4.37m) from a short approach (six lefts) and escalated to the number three ranked sophomore in the US.
In the same competition, Team VA vaulters established an additional four (4) new personal best performances (J. Maurer, B. Kong, C. Longshore, and M. Ginnetti).
These performances proved stellar as Team VA competed with only eight (8) team members. (Team Vault Assault consists of twelve (12) members.)
Team VA’s next team competition will be January 15th, 2017.
The Team VA Community Outreach Project will begin in early spring 2017.
